Hot Tip:In our opinion, the best way to give your house, unit, place of business or wherever you live or work, real security is to have a Tri-Lock System fitted to your security door!
|
The KRM Approach:Our ApproachStage 1- QuotingWe aim to please and we do this by making sure you are not stung with 'extra' or 'hidden' costs after the original quote. We ask all the right questions up front so that we can guarantee not to disappoint. You won't be asked afterwards, "Oh, did you want a lock with that?" or, "Installation is extra!". Design/PlanningAlthough the design stage is a separate process, it needs to be done during the Quoting process to ensure we fully understand your requirement and can provide you an accurate quote. We have hundreds of designs for you to choose from, but we often find that customers are really looking for something just a little bit different. A security door that blends into its surroundings doesn't just look like a security door, rather it looks like its a part of the bigger picture. When we (that is you and me) reach a decision on the design, you can be assured you will get exactly what you want. We will draw it up together and fully document everything you want so that there can be no misunderstandings regarding your order. The QuoteAll of our quotes are fully itemised and include:
Stage 2 - FabricationSteel Selection & CuttingFirstly, we select the steel to meet your requirements. This may be a combination of various flat bar, square or round tubing, spear heads, etc... We then commence measuring and cutting the steel to suit your design. Shaping or BendingAfter all the pieces are measured and cut to suit, we commence the bending or 'shaping' process to create all the individual intricate shapes within your design. Where there are multiple elements of the same shape or size, creating the duplicate parts together gives us the ability to generate true symmetry in your design. Construction / ManufacturingOnce all the individual components are cut and shaped to suit, we then proceed to manufacture the door. This is the process of welding all the parts together to form the design you agreed to in stage 1. Electroplating (in Gold Passivate)The next step is to protect the constructed framework. Without exception, all of our security doors are electroplated in gold passivate to reduce the chemical reactivity of its surface and protect against contamination. This process of protection is about as good as you can get. Powder-CoatingAfter the electroplating process your door is Powder Coated in a colour of your choice. There is virtually no limit to the range of colours available. FinishingAfter the door has been coloured and allowed to dry we then install the mesh you selected during the design stage and prepare the door for delivery by attaching all the door furniture. This includes:
Stage 3 - Delivery and InstallationOnce the doors are finished and ready to be installed, we first contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time to bring the doors out to you. We then turn up at the agreed time and professionally install and test the doors before obtaining sign off from you that you are satisfied with the end result.
